Pennsylvania

I am a recent graduate from Dickinson College, where I majored in Biology and Environmental Science, but learned a lot more than just these topics. I learned about local issues through research including studies on conventional vs. organic agriculture, invasive species prevalent in PA, and water quality mechanisms in Opossum Lake. Beyond academics, I engaged with the community through a grant writing proposal for Mount  Holly Springs. I also worked for a non-profit organization, the Alliance for Aquatic Resource Management (ALLARM) where I was able to facilitate workshops and interact with citizen scientists around the state.  These individuals inspired me through their desire to protect their local waterways and utilize scientific data to envoke change.
