Lyndsey Tanabe

The Baird Sustainability Fellows Program recognizes senior leaders in sustainability from varied academic backgrounds at Dickinson College.

Selected students must have a 3.4 GPA or higher, have significant coursework in sustainability, and have completed a major academic or service project that advanced sustainability goals on campus or in the community. This fellowship offered additional community interaction through a grant writing proposal. I worked closely with a community partner, Mt. Holly Springs Borough, to build a new park to create a space for environmental education and revitalize the town.
